Start: ch40
R1: sk 1 ch, sc in each ch, but sk 5th ch = 32 ch
R2: ch3, trc across the round = 32 ch
R3: ch1, sc across the round = 32 ch
R4: ch3, trc across the round = 32 ch
R5: ch1, sc across the round = 32 ch
R6: ch3, trc across the round = 32 ch
R7: ch1, sc across the round = 32 ch
R8: ch1, sc in the second ch st from the hook, *sk 3 ch, 9 trc in the next (create a shell st), sk 3 ch, sc in the next*
repeat *-* = 4 shells
R9: ch4, trc in the 5th ch st from the hook, *ch7, 1 trc in the sc space from the previous round, ch1, 1trc in the same st*
Repeat *-* x 3 times
R10: ch3 (count as 1 trc), 8 trc in the ch space from the
previous round, sc in the 5th shell st from the previous round together
with the ch st, *9 trc in the sc space from the previous round, sc in
the 5th shell st from the previous round together with the ch st*
Repeat *-* = 5 shells
R11: *ch7, 1 trc in the sc space from the previous round, ch1, 1trc in the same st*

***cut the yarn long enough to sew both sides together
Optional: Crochet long straps with leaves for tying like the one I have here, or just leave it like that and put your thumps inside one of the ch space and it become a fingerless gloves ^:^
